Developing a Wealthy Mindset

Over and over again I've heard the term wealthy mindset used to describe a state of mind which describes the thought processes of those who have become or are likely to become wealthy. The all elusive "wealthy mindset" is described as the missing link which can take a person from their current reality to one of increased amounts of abundance. So what exactly does the wealthy mindset look like? In essence, having a similar mindset as the wealthy entails several components which I will describe in detail.

Wealthy Mindset Trait #1-More than enough!
Where are you placing your focus? Are you consistently feeding your subconscious mind messages about how little you have? As you may already know, every thought, word, and action is interpreted and stored away into your subconscious database. The last thing you want to do is feed your mind with thoughts and feelings of lack. Creating a wealthy mindset does not mean that you trick yourself into believing that you are wealthy if you are not. Instead, the "more than enough" mentality really means that you remain grounded in the belief that there is an incredible amount of abundance available. The wealthy mindset also goes a step beyond simply believing the abundance exists, but is also obtainable. Those who have the wealthy have a well grounded belief in the possibility and probability in achieving and receiving more than they are experiencing today.

Wealthy Mindset Trait #2-Work won't make me wealthy
There is little chance that you will actually become wealthy from the job you are working. Don't get me wrong, a nice hefty paycheck can give you some great wealth building potential-but that's only if you apply a portion of the wealth to wealth creation or wealth building. If your bi-weekly allowance (paycheck) is used time after time to take care of your needs, wants, and desires, your desire for becoming wealthy may never be actualized. Your money must be fully seen as an asset to make more money for you. Work doesn't make you money. Work pays you a fixed amount in exchange for your precious time. In order to get more money, you'll likely be asked to give up more of your time. This is not a how you want to live. Unless you find ways of increasing your money sources, you'll likely never find yourself making enough money to consider yourself a person with wealthy habits. Start as small as you can. If you currently have absolutely no income from any other source other than your job, your first step is to open an online banking account and at least start earning some type of interest on your money. You can start with as little as $5.00!

Start with these two premises in mind and you are now beginning to travel down the road of increasing abundance. Allow these wealthy mindset traits to cultivate within you and nurture them.
